thought of the day

I don't if anybody actually reads these these but you do thank you. Anyways thought of the day, I have had the opinion that in your spiritual journey that we call life, God blesses us in so many ways. I believe that when those blessings come your way sometimes  God will take you out of your comfort zone.

With that God will strengthen your weaknesses and give you strength to do the things that will help you grow on your spiritual journey. One thing that keeps me going is that I remember that I was not given the spirit of fear and that jesus gives me the strength to carry on and be the best Christian I can be. Remember God loves you and we are brothers and sisters in christ.

I have returned

I bet you didn't know I had a blog well after many years past, I just remembered myself. Since than I have left the Army after close to 15 years of service and a great job doing security. This blog is not about me it is about God has done for me, that is why I am blogging again as kind a way to tell people. God has brought me a long ways in  t the many years since I started this blog and well forgot I had it. I became a deacon at my church and let's just I was not expecting that but God would not put in a position like that unless he knew that you. Can handle it. I believe that with his help we can do anything we set are minds to,even it seems impossible. I once read some where that if God will happen in your life he not make it easy and that is the challenge you have to face. You must choose to face that challenge because the enemy will be there to try to stop it every step of the way. I will end this by saying God Bless every and I pray that you are blessed each and everyday.

the greatness of god

Just want to say that God is great and he keeps his promises. been awhile since I have done anything on this blog but I think I will praise God for awhile. God has blessed me in so many ways even though sometimes I think sometimes I don't deserve it. Though I do know that Jesus died in on the cross for our sins and he paid the price. No matter what storm you go through know that when it over and it clears, the light of gods glory will shine bright. So thank you lord for you mercy and you love that you show us.

Gone fishing

today we went fishing well not to my surprise we caught nothing surprise surprise. I will continue to go fishing and I will catch something someday I promise you that. Like I always said a bad day of fishing is always a good day for golf. Had so much fun firs time had to go again but of course we fed the fish very good. Found a great spot near a dam that is just filled with fish but of course they are smarter than we are surprise surprise. here are some of photos and as you see Zeke joined us. He is a great dog to take fishing, anyway may we live to fish again or just have a great time trying.

Train camp

Recently Me and 2 of my children went (Jacob and Hannah). The cabins were not normal they were actually train box cars that were made to be slept in. They built bunks inside of them that were actually pretty comfortable. They had a whole lot of stuff to do for the kids it was non stop through out the day. They had paddle boats and a zip line that by the Jake now has a black eye from trying to get off. Both of the kids had a great time, though was a time I thought that maybe Hannah would not make it. She did really good through out the camp and I am very proud of her. We all had a real good time and if I have the chance I would do it all over again. I myself was put in care of 11 crazy boys (that includes Jake). It was a good time for all of us and I hope to do it again soon

Bad for golf (good day for fishing)

Well me and my good friend Jesse went golfing today and lets just say it could have gone better. Though it has become average for me and it is all having fun anymore(Keeping score make it to difficult anymore). I really do enjoy golf although there time I get frustrated too. I figure with about 10 more years of practice I will get better. anyways like I always said a bad of golf is always a better day for fishing.

my first blog

Not right sure what to say, so let me tell you about myself. If you add the letters in my age together you get 12 so you can try to figure that one out. I have served 11 years in the army as a Mechanic and still serving now. I have been married to the same great and wonderful wife for 11 years. We are blessed with 5 great kids and I would not trade them for anything. I always do my best to keep God in my life but I know I do not do that. God promises to always be there and to always love us know matter what we do. God loves us all and will always.
